(October 21, 2009)-Convergent Media PR is pleased to announce the launch of Author, Poet and Foxxhole XM/Sirrus Radio Personality Tina Divina’s two-part collection of intimate and thought-provoking poems, Coffee Table Conversations Volume I (978-1-4415-6777-2, $31.99) and Coffee Table Conversations Volume II (978-1-4415-7201-1 , $31.99) taking place on Monday, Oct. 26, from 8pm to midnight at The O Bar in West Hollywood. ABOUT THE BOOK Coffee Table Conversations is a collection of poems and reflections of life and love whether experienced or observed, through the eyes of first time author and longtime blogist Tina Divina. Tina has uniquely found a way through her writings to awaken your conscience and spark conversation. As a poet, Tina engages your heart and soul, while her Mental Hors d’oeuvres feed your mind and fill you with thought provoking delectables. Questions like, how well do you know your lover, better yet, how well do you know yourself? This book was written to inspire you, to evoke awareness of your own needs and wants, to show you to be proud of your individuality. Each and every one of us deserve to be loved for being ourselves. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Tina Divina, a single mother of one, grew up in Redondo Beach, CA with her mother and grandmother. Early on she had a fascination with her grandmother’s profession as a Psychotherapist, specializing in marriage counseling and sex therapy. Tina would dabble in her grandmother’s books and took a great interest in the subject, thus naturally becoming the one her friends would go to for advice. She saw this open communication to be normal, and approached the touchy subjects un-opinionated and un-daunted. She feels there are far too many words left unsaid, and things that are taboo. Tina believes communication is the key to bridging the gaps that separate us. “Living in Hollywood, I find people walk with their guards up, everyone has their “Glamour” face on, fake representations of who they are. I find myself wanting to tap into that, wanting to bypass those walls, break barriers, lose inhibitions, and learn the truths.” says Tina Divina. Today, Tina is one of the five personalities on the hit radio talk show, “The Claudia Jordan Show and Friends” on Sirius 106 and XM 149, the Foxxhole Network.
